In the early 1920s, a Peace Institute Trust was elected to acquire land and erect a public building to be known as Robertstown Peace Institute. Local stone and sand was delivered to the site voluntarily by young farmers. The building was completed in 1923, with the present supper room added to the building in 1956.

Events
The Robertstown Peace Hall serves as hub of local events for the town, holding the local school's annual Christmas concerts, auctions, parties, and much more.
